Development storyStar Tots was Kenner’s attempt to answer a deceptively interesting question: could Star Wars work as a preschool toy line? The concept appears to have drawn on the company’s successful Tree Tots formula, using simplified, chunky, non-articulated characters that very young children could handle easily. Kenner developed more than isolated figure ideas.
