Development storyThe Bespin Torture Chamber is one of those prototypes that makes the word “unproduced” feel almost misleading. Kenner did not merely sketch the idea and walk away. The set reached finished, production-quality form, complete with working play features, figures, decals and packaging development. Its design extended the Micro Collection Bespin environment into the scenes surrounding Han Solo’s interrogation and C-3PO’s destruction.
