What is publicly documented

Development storyGeneral Madine is a particularly good example of how a Kenner action figure could change even after a professional sculptor had delivered a finished model. The original figure was sculpted in acetate by veteran model maker Bill Lemon, whose work was admired inside the toy industry for its precision and engineering-minded construction. Lemon had worked across several major toy properties, and a typical model could require dozens of hours of exacting hand work. But Kenner did not simply send every finished sculpt…
How to identify itOriginal acetate sculpt with two-part removable torso construction and disc/groove limb attachment. The sculpt’s head is rounder than the production figure; SWCA notes that the head was later reworked in wax before hardcopy/tooling.
Production outcomeDevelopment record
Surviving evidenceDocumented multi stage development · At least one original acetate sculpt is documented.
