The Clone Warrior was conceived as the elite manufactured soldier of Atha Prime in Kenner’s proposed post-Return of the Jedi line, The Epic Continues. Its armored design reflected the increasingly muscular science-fiction action-toy aesthetic of the mid-1980s. The character existed as concept artwork within Kenner’s extensive Lucasfilm presentation but was never approved for production.
