Gargan — Unproduced Action Figure Program

Kenner developed a 3¾-inch Gargan figure based on the dancer seen in Jabba’s palace. The project reached original wax sculpting and hardcopy development, allowing in-house samples to be made for photography and approval. Lucasfilm rejected the character choice and the figure was cancelled. Surviving development material also shows Gargan was considered during early Power of the Force coin planning, suggesting Kenner was still exploring a possible late ROTJ or POTF release before the concept was abandoned.
