Kenner explored repackaging Micro Collection figures as stand-alone toy-soldier assortments rather than tying them to modular playsets. Surviving concepts show buckets carrying Empire Strikes Back and Revenge of the Jedi branding together with Hoth-themed play mats. The idea never entered production, making it evidence of Kenner searching for alternate ways to keep the struggling Micro figure format viable.
