Development storyThe 2-1B Revenge of the Jedi proof card belongs to one of the most tantalizing packaging detours in Kenner history. Kenner had progressed far enough with the third Star Wars line to create finished-looking Revenge of the Jedi card artwork and proof material, but the title changed before those packages could become ordinary retail cards. Proof cards were part of the package-development and approval process: they allowed graphics, copy, colors, character identity and layout to be evaluated before full production.…
