BASA locally manufactured this licensed large-size Darth Vader in Peru circa 1981–82 using its own molds and blow-molding process. The resulting figure is physically distinct from Kenner’s U.S. version in sculpt, weight, dimensions, accessories and BASA-specific closed-box presentation. Final Territory Certification correction: surviving evidence places this locally manufactured BASA large-size figure circa 1981-82, so the prior exact 1980 value was over-precise. Exact first Peru retail year is recorded as Unknown.
