The 1979 U.S. Star Wars 20-back release is the First Issue anchor for Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot) in the Ranney Index. The figure itself is dated 1978 and was the first official alternate-costume Luke, but the U.S. retail lineage is anchored to its documented 20-back carded debut.
