Hoth Generator Attack

Hoth Generator Attack gives the Imperial assault on Echo Base one of the Micro Collection’s most satisfying destruction features. Released in 1982, the set combines a four-piece Rebel Shield Generator, a six-piece Scout Walker and six painted die-cast Imperial figures. The result is less a static battlefield than a tiny siege machine: press the button, destroy the generator, and give the Empire the kind of repeat victory that was probably very good for morale. The Scout Walker is especially important to the set’s identity. It is not one of the separately boxed Micro vehicles and should not be removed from the playset’s completeness logic. Kenner designed it as part of Generator Attack, giving the Imperial side a moving visual anchor and reinforcing the sense that this is an attack force rather than simply a generator display. The figure assortment supports that same idea. Darth Vader a This is the documented first commercial issue for this territory and anchors descendant packaging, variant and reissue records.
