Vintage Star Wars Toys — Japan
Japan produced one of the most visually and structurally distinctive branches of vintage Star Wars collecting through Takara, Popy and later distribution channels.
Japanese releases can differ substantially in packaging format, branding and presentation, making them important records in their own right rather than simple exports of the USA line.
The Index preserves Takara and Popy identities where supported while also documenting later official distribution.
